We believe that the doctrine of God's sovereign grace most faithfully and beautifully expresses the Scripture’s teaching on salvation. From eternity past to eternity future, salvation is all of the Lord. It is God who chooses, God who calls, God who regenerates, God who justifies, God who sanctifies, and God who preserves His people to the end. Man contributes nothing to his salvation except the sin that made it necessary, and therefore all glory belongs to God alone. This great truth humbles the sinner while exalting the triune God, and it brings deep rest to the sin-weary soul. Our hope is not anchored in the will, wisdom, or effort of man, but in the unchanging purpose, promise, and power of God. Because salvation rests entirely in His hands, it is both secure and sure. Throughout the history of the church, this understanding of salvation has been known as Augustinianism, Calvinism, and the Doctrines of Grace and has fueled preaching, writing, evangelism, and missions.

We affirm the Five Solas of the Reformation as a faithful and time-tested summary of the gospel, and as a necessary guardrail for the church in every generation. These truths are not the inventions of men, but the recovery of the biblical witness itself—truths that exalt Christ, humble the sinner, and safeguard the purity of the gospel entrusted to the church. At the heart of the Protestant Reformation was a decisive return to the supreme authority of Scripture and the all-sufficiency of Christ. In clear contrast to the errors of the Roman Catholic Church, which bound the gospel message with human tradition, priestly mediation, and sacramentalism, the Reformers proclaimed with clarity and courage what Scripture itself declares: that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, according to Scripture alone, and to the glory of God alone.

We confess the historic and orthodox Christology of the early church, as defined in the Nicene Creed (A.D. 325/381), faithfully upheld by true believers throughout the centuries. At the very heart of the Christian faith stands the person of Jesus Christ, who is both truly God and truly man. This Nicene Creed is not a secondary or peripheral matter, for to deny either the full deity or the true humanity of Christ is to deny the gospel itself. The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God—begotten, not made, and of the same essence as the Father. In the fullness of time, He graciously took upon Himself our human nature, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, lived in perfect obedience to the law of God, and willingly suffered under the righteous wrath of God on behalf of sinners. He was crucified, buried, and on the third day rose again in victory over sin and death. Now exalted at the right hand of the Father, He reigns in glory and will come again to judge the living and the dead. This Christ is the center of our worship and the sure foundation of our hope. We proclaim Him without apology, for only this Christ—fully God and fully man—has the power and authority to save.

We believe that the Great Commission is not a suggestion, but a binding command to go into all the world, to preach the gospel, to make disciples, and to baptize them in the name of the triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—teaching them to observe all that Christ has commanded. Evangelism, therefore, is not a mere program or occasional activity of the church, but the natural outflow of love for Christ and joyful obedience to His Word. Because the gospel itself is the power of God unto salvation, we do not place our confidence in clever techniques, emotional manipulation, or cultural gimmicks. Instead, we proclaim Christ crucified, calling all men everywhere to repent of their sins and believe in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. We labor with earnest urgency, yet with a rest in the sovereignty of God—knowing that while we sow the seed, it is God who gives the growth. In all of this, our aim is singular and supreme: that the Lamb who was slain might receive the full reward of His suffering.

While these churches may differ on secondary and tertiary matters of Christian doctrine and practice, they are united where it matters most—in the gospel of Jesus Christ. This unity is not grounded in sentiment or convenience, but in a shared submission to the Word of God, a high and reverent view of God Himself, and ultimately expressed in our common confession of the free and sovereign grace of God in Christ—that God’s Word cannot fail, and that salvation, from beginning to end, is of the Lord. This shared conviction fosters humility, reverence, and genuine Christian fellowship, producing a God-centered faith that seeks the glory of God alone. We do not claim that every doctrinal difference is insignificant, nor do we minimize the importance of careful theological conviction. Rather, we affirm that gospel clarity and doctrinal depth can—and must—coexist with Christian charity. Together, these churches stand in proclaiming the gospel, exalting Christ, and calling sinners to repentance and faith, trusting not in the strength or wisdom of man, but in the power of God.
