We confess the historic Christian faith expressed in the Nicene Creed (A.D. 325/381) as a faithful summary of the foundational truths of biblical Christianity. We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; in one Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal and only-begotten Son of God, truly God and truly man, who for our salvation was incarnate by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, was crucified, died, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead; and in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and giver of life, who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified. We confess one holy catholic (universal) and apostolic church and one baptism, the future resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come—receiving these blessed truths, not as, but under the supreme and final authority of Holy Scripture.

We affirm the Five Solas of the Reformation as a faithful and time-tested summary of the gospel and a necessary guardrail for the church in every generation. Far from being the inventions of men, they represent a recovery of the biblical witness concerning the authority of Scripture and the sufficiency of Christ in man's salvation. In contrast to the errors of the Roman Catholic Church that obscured the gospel, the Reformers proclaimed anew what Scripture declares: salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, according to Scripture alone, and to the glory of God alone.

We believe the doctrine of God’s free and sovereign grace most faithfully and beautifully expresses Scripture’s teaching concerning salvation. From eternity past to eternity future, salvation is of the Lord: God elects, calls, regenerates, justifies, sanctifies, and preserves His people to the end. This truth humbles the sinner, exalts the triune God, and gives lasting assurance that our salvation rests not in the strength or faithfulness of man, but in the unchanging purpose, promise, and power of God. Historically known as Augustinianism, Calvinism, or the Doctrines of Grace, this understanding of salvation has long strengthened the church in preaching, evangelism, and missions—all to the glory of God alone.

We believe the Great Commission is Christ’s binding command to His church to proclaim the gospel, make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the triune God, and teaching them to observe all that He has commanded. Evangelism is therefore the joyful outflow of love for Christ and obedience to His Word. Trusting that the gospel is the power of God unto salvation, we proclaim Christ crucified and call all people everywhere to repent and believe in Him. We labor with earnest urgency, yet resting in the sovereignty of God, knowing that while we sow the seed, it is God who gives the growth. In all of this, our aim is singular and supreme: that the Lamb who was slain might receive the full reward of His suffering.

While these churches may differ on secondary and tertiary matters of Christian doctrine and practice, they are united where it matters most: in the gospel of Jesus Christ. This unity rests upon a shared submission to the Word of God, a high and reverent view of God Himself, and the historic voice of the church—especially confessing of His free and sovereign grace in salvation. We do not regard every doctrinal difference as insignificant, but believe theological conviction and Christian charity can, and must, coexist. Together, we seek to proclaim the gospel, exalt Christ, and call sinners to repentance and faith, trusting not in the wisdom or strength of man, but in the power of God, for the glory of God alone.
